TO MY EYES CONTENT
I have learned a lot from our previous lessons in ICT IV just like blogging, making notepads and web designing.
This time, our topic is also connected in web designing. We are going to apply colors and back ground picture to our web. At first, I thought it is hard to make one because I know there will be a lot of process to be made so that I’ll be able to make a colorful and beautiful web site. But I was wrong; I didn’t expect that putting color and back ground picture to a web would be as simple as typing short codes into the notepad of the web. I enjoyed applying different colors and back ground picture to the web page. I was amazed as I see the outcome of it. I never thought that a plain web page would become so colorful and pleasing to the eyes. What I can say about this is nothing but an interesting topic and there’s no sweat in making one.
Well, it’s easy to apply colors and back ground picture to a web page but it still needs improvement so as usual, I will listen to my teacher’s instruction in making a better web page and I’ll also ask my classmates who have further knowledge for their advice so that I’ll be able to improve the outlook of my web page. As I moved on, I’ll be able to make a better web page.

SEMBREAK IS NO SEMBREAK!!!!!
Semestral break is what I’ve been waiting for, not only me of course but also all of the students. Free from assignments, from activities, lessons and other activities in connection to schooling. But I didn’t expect that my sembreak would be busier than my school days.
Before the sembreak, all the THE DOVE staffers have our meeting and we agreed to conduct a seminar about journalism and it will be during our sembreak. Well I thought that my sembreak would no longer be a break for me because almost everyday, I need to go to school even at weekends, the first day of our so called break. As what I’ve said a while a back, I really don’t have a break because I’ve attended the seminar with connection to the children’s day. The seminar was really boring but I really need to attend on this seminar because it is considered as our make-up activity in Economics. Anyway, it is a two day seminar and gratefully I enjoyed the second day of the seminar for I’ve experienced adopting a child. Well its kind a hard to look after a child especially if the kid is naughty or so called “pasaway”. At first we were not able to get his trust and he doesn’t want to be far away from his mom but somehow, at the end we managed to encourage him to play with us. At that time, I even wished that we just give up at the very first time he doesn’t want to go with us because he, as what his mom told us was very naughty. And worst of all, of all my group mates, nobody helped or substitute me on taking care of him so I was really very tired after the program. Oh, anyway the kid that we adopt is Mikey Chloe, a nice and cute name, isn’t it? The next day, it’s really my free time. I didn’t go to school or any place instead I spend the day lying in my bed.

The start of another seminar, a seminar I thought was boring but not really. Students consider seminars as a boring activity and I agree with that. The seminar is all about journalism and honestly speaking, I really hate writing and I really don’t know what cross my mind to join this seminar. I was a little bit worried when Mrs. Cacal assigned me to do the community singing and worst of all, I didn’t know what I should sing. But then they suggested me to sing the Ilocos Sur Hym and so I did. After that, we have the lectures and some workshops and we noticed that the participants of the seminar were bored so we also conducted ice breakers. It was a lot of fun then but I got irritated when our last lecturer for the day dismissed us so late.

The second day of the seminar was just like the first, we have lectures, ice breakers but more workshops!!!! The lecturers gave us some assignments but I didn’t make the, bad me (hahaha). Well I thought those assignments wouldn’t affect my academic grades so I didn’t make them. But I joined all the ice breakers because it is my way to enjoy myself.

It is the last day of the seminar and I didn’t know if I would be happy or sad. Well we still have our lectures so it’s kind of boring but when we have our lecture on cartooning, all of us have fun because of the workshop. After that, the lecturers announced the best among us in writing. Then the seminar room was filled with laughter because we watched all the snap shots taken by Angelica and she added some funny jokes on it so we really can’t help laughing at that time. Well, that was the end of the three-day seminar, a seminar filled with enjoyment and fun.
The next days were a boring days for me for all I have done was lying in the bed. There’s nothing else I need to than texting for I have finished all the requirements that were given to us. While lying on the bed, all I did is waiting for our semestral break to come to an end.
Ooops!!! I almost forgot to mention about how I celebrate all saint’s and all soul’s day. Well I went to cemetery to visit my loved ones who passed away and light a candle and I uttered a little prayer for them. This is how we show our love for them and let them know that we haven’t forgotten them though they’re not whit us any longer. Well that’s how my semestral break end.
